About Brad Allen Fine Art Photography

I am Brad Allen, professional photographer and proud member of the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada). Nationally Accredited/Recognized in Commercial and Fine Art Photography, and award winning independent film maker, nominated "Best Cinematographer" at the 2007 AMPIA Awards (Alberta Media Production Industries Assoc). I am also the PPOC-AB Central Branch Chair for the 2011/12 term.

 I've lived in Alberta all of my life, grew up in the country on farm & ranch property with horses, and developed a conservationist lifestyle through close ties to the forestry and fish and wildlife industry. I originally came to Calgary to study Architecture, and worked in the custom home-building industry for a number of years before I soon realized that my interest in photography and film making was taking over. The architectural training and application only further developed my sense of scale, perspective, and my "creative eye".  

The philosophy behind my work is to create images that people can relate to on many levels, both personally and professionally; detail is of utmost importance when trying to achieve this. Every image that I create is a master-piece that is designed with fine art quality and craftsmanship.
